I’ve been reading a lot lately about the Law of Attraction and the power of positive thinking. It’s so interesting to think that our whole world is basically just made up of what we think every day. So if we change the way we think for the better than we can change our world for the better. The Law of Attraction says that we will attract to us what we put out in our thoughts. If we think it’s going to be a rotten day, then it probably will be. But if we think about all we have to be grateful for then we will attract more good things in our life.
We probably all have at least one person in our life that is a negative nelly. He or she is always complaining about something or someone. Nothing is ever good enough and everything is unfair. People like this will never be happy because they are so focused in what is wrong with their life they just keep attracting more and more negative things.
But we all have our bad days were nothing seems to go right. The only way to get out of our funk and turn things around, is to keep a mental list of everything we are grateful for. Think about all of your blessings, it can be your house, your children and spouse. Even something as basic as having enough food to eat and having a car to drive to work in. Everyone has dark thoughts from time to time. They're an unavoidable part of life. The only way not to let them control you is to keep so many happy, positive thoughts in your mind and heart that they overpower the darkness. Your loved ones, your goals, your dreams; these thoughts are the lights that will shine and get you through the tough times.

Visualization is another tool that keeps me focused on the positive. I visualize my husband and I having children and living in a nice house. We have friends over often for game nights. I am able to be a stay at home mom and work on my creative projects like photography and writing Ebooks. We’re able to afford to take a family vacation each year.
Okay so I know the visualization of my perfect life isn’t too fancy but it’s what keeps me going through the hard times. I didn’t grow up in a very stable home. I used to watch TV shows like Full House and dream about having a loving family like that someday. I think that’s why my visualization means so much to me. In it, I can be the parent that I’d always wished I’d had, and I can have that loving home with my husband and future children. That hope for the future has carried me to where I am today and I can’t wait to see how far It will take me.
